Privacy Policy
This website is operated by HailCheck & Dent Repair Ltd ("we", "us"), doing business as Calgary Paintless Dent Repair, at 1725 32 Ave NE #143, Calgary, AB T2E 7C8. We keep things simple: we collect only what we need to give you an estimate and do the repair, and we don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
What we collect
When you contact us — by phone, in person, or through the quote form on this site — we may collect your name, phone number, details about the vehicle damage, and any photos or notes you choose to send. That's it. We don't run ads on this site and we don't use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To call or message you back about your estimate and to schedule the repair.
- To prepare an accurate quote from the photos and details you provide.
- To keep basic records of completed work.
We contact you only about your own inquiry or repair. Submitting the quote form is your consent to be contacted about your estimate; you can withdraw it at any time by telling us.
Service providers we rely on
- Web3Forms — when the online quote form is active, your submission (name, phone, message, photo) is transmitted through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which forwards it to our inbox. Their handling of the data is described in the Web3Forms privacy policy.
- Google Maps — this site embeds a Google map (on the home and contact pages) so you can find the shop. Loading it means your browser talks to Google, which may set cookies and record your IP address under the Google privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — the site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) to deliver and protect the site.
How long we keep it
Inquiry details are kept only as long as we need them to handle your estimate and any resulting repair, plus whatever records tax and business law require us to retain. If you'd like your inquiry deleted, ask — we'll remove it unless the law says we must keep it.
Your rights
Under Canada's privacy laws (PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA) you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to be contacted. Call us at (825) 747-7909 and we'll sort it out. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (OIPC) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions are always welcome — just call.
